When working with my personal training clients, I combine my personal experience training as competitive powerlifter, my American Council of Exercise education and certification, my many years of customer service, and my passion for helping others to succeed.  As member of the Quick’s Fitness team, I utilize an array of exercise and fitness tools alongside the latest technology in conjunction with the most up-to-date scientific and industry research to assist each client achieve his or her goals.  My exercise and fitness philosophy is anchored in the belief that movement is at the core of what it means to feel healthy and engage in life experiences.  I believe that every step, jump or lift puts my clients on the path toward a more active and fulfilling life.  Movement is vitally important and healthy behavior patterns, good nutrition, and consistency are the keys for my clients to achieve healthy sustainable life changes that help to ward off inactivity-related illnesses.  

 

In my personalized training programing, I employ motivational interviewing, active listening, and other behavior-change personal training strategies to empower my clients to improve their self-efficacy so they can increase their confidence to successfully achieve their personal best.  From assessment through progression to success, your personalized program will be based upon your unique abilities, needs, and goals. 

 

I am inspired by my younger brother who purses his love of music despite his daily challenges to be the best personal trainer I can be for my clients.  I am avid outdoorsman and enjoy staying competitive in the sport of powerlifting.  As my client, we will work together to make your fitness and exercise experience both challenging and fun.
